Responsibilities Include

1. -- Dismantle, move and assemble gas and steam turbines
2. -- Monitor condition of rotating machinery utilizing parameters including vibration, temperature, pressures, flows and currents. Must be able to take field vibration readings, and understand basic data.
3. -- Understand and assess the daily operation of various types of equipment including centrifuges, reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, conveyors, screw feeders, blowers and pumps. Based on assessment, provide recommendations to improve reliability.
4. -- Maintain equipment to design specifications including, but not limited to, centrifugal pumps, reciprocating pumps & compressors, fans, gear reducers/increasers & other mechanical equipment (valves, operators, testing tools).
5. -- Replace pump seals, mechanical seals, pump packing. Provide proper alignment for all rotating equipment.
6. -- Perform preventative/predictive maintenance and troubleshoot problems.
7. -- Determine material needs, sequence of operations, and job methods including the use of a computer for storing and using information for preventive/predictive maintenance

Qualifications 

1. ** MUST LIVE WITHIN 45 MILES OF La Porte, Texas NO EXCEPTIONS **
2. -- Compressor experience needs to be 5+ years
3. -- Large turbine experience must be a minimum of 5 years
4. -- Must be able to read process flow diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical drawings and follow mechanical specifications.
5. -- Able read understand drawings printed instructions 
6. -- Must a self-starter who can work safely under high pressure situations 
7. -- Possess understanding in line ups pumps sheaves sprockets machine centers 
8. -- Basic Plus Certification would also be preferred Industrial Group will pay to get Basic Plus do not have one if you are offered employment
