Hierarchy
Breakdown:
Reports
to: The Operations Superintendent/Foreman located in the New
Mexico Field Office.
Works
Directly Alongside: The Construction Superintendent Onsite on construction
projects.
VRU
Mechanic will have the Knowledge and Ability to Perform the Following:
- Record
operational data, such as temperatures, pressures, ingredients used,
processing times, or test results.
- Patrol
work areas to detect leaks or equipment malfunctions or to monitor
operating conditions.
- Draw
samples of products at specified stages so that analyses can be performed.
- Monitor
gauges, recording instruments, flowmeters, or products to ensure that
specified conditions are maintained.
- Inspect
equipment or units to detect leaks or malfunctions, shutting equipment
down, if necessary.
- Estimate
materials required for production and manufacturing of products.
- Direct
activities of workers assisting in control or verification of processes or
in unloading of materials.
Top
Focus of this Position:
- This
person should have some experience with Vapor Recovery Units, lease
operations, compressors, and some I&E background.
- Will
supervise all facility electrical, grounding, end device, commissioning
including loop checks on facilities containing VRU equipment, SWD pumps,
and associated oil and saltwater tank batteries.
- Working
with combustors, compressors, VRU, and pneumatic valves. Used blue prints
to design battery and well locations
